Walker's Hat Shop's handmade women's sun visors are made in a small shop in California by the same family since 1962. It's unique curvature allows for great vision while still having a large brim for superior sun protection. The velcro clasp in the back allows for full adjustment to fit all head sizes and under windy conditions. Our all cotton/polyester visor is comfortable and durable. It is machine washable for easy care, can be crushed and folded for travel.

Customizations

Brim Size

Brim size is measured from band edge to brim tip at the front center of the visor

2 3/4 inch - Our smallest brim size. It provides slightly less coverage of the ear, but still provides good coverage of the face, cheeks and nose.
3 inch - Shortens the brim of the hat from our most popular 4 inch size while still providing coverage around the ears. Good for those who find the 4 inch a little too large, but don't want to give up full ear coverage with the 2 3/4 inch brim.
4 inch - Our most popular brim size. It is a good compromise between full coverage of the face, cheeks, ears and nose with full visibility.
5 inch - Largest brim size, providing complete coverage of the face, cheeks, ears and nose. The 5 inch was added to our product line after repeated requests by customers who loved our 4 inch brim, but wanted additional coverage.

Color

Your visor can be customized with a variety of colors on top and bottom, perfect for your team, corporation, etc. We recommend a light color on top to reflect the sun and a dark color on the underside to absorb light for better visibility. Colors can be mixed to match your favorite sports team, apparel or personal preference.

Trim

Plain - Standard cotton/polyester material, including band. *Not terry band, see Terry option below
Terry Lined Band - Terry lining on inside of band.
Embroidered - Diamond stitch between the brim and band matches the underside color. Solid colors (same top and bottom fabric color) are embroidered in white.

Love my visors

I’ve been buying the large brim visors for years! They are super comfortable. I wash them over and over and they still look and wear well. I just like having different colors! Gives my face full coverage from the sun. Best ever visors!

Best visors for tennis and life!

I found Walker‘s hat shop many years ago after a furtive Google search for a good tennis visor. I started with the 3 inch brims and have over the years bought four-inch and even the 5 inch. The visors provide excellent sun protection and will stay on on a windy day. The terry cloth absorbs sweat really well. These visors have been instrumental in protecting my face from the sun and have saved me a ton of money in expensive procedures trying to reverse the sun damage! The hardest part about buying a new visor is picking a color. I have found that if you get a light color on top and a dark color on the bottom, the sweat will cause the bottom color to bleed through on top, so now I usually buy black on top with a different color underneath. The 5-inch visor is so big that I think it looks best in all black but who knows? Maybe I’ll try another color next :-)

I love this product. I have worn these since 1980s!! Keeps Florida sunshine off my face. Warning: Color turquoise was not as shown on website. It is dark peacock rather than the light color depicted. Unfortunately it does not match anything I own. ??
